The Eye Center was conceived by over thirty ophthalmologists representing more than ten practices located across Central Ohio, and provides a central location at which physicians can locate their offices and a state of the art surgery center at which physicians can perform their procedures.

The practices associated with The Eye Center are broken down in to Internal Physicians (those physicians with their practices located within The Eye Center), External Physicians (those physicians with their offices located outside of The Eye Center, but who still use The Eye Center's surgery center and other facilities), and finally Specialists who work with The Eye Center and other physicians at The Eye Center. The Specialists that work with The Eye Center primarily work in the areas of Anesthesiology, Family Practice, and Nuero-Opthalmology.
