Conceived by over thirty ophthalmologists representing more than ten practices located across Central Ohio, The Eye Center coalesces community opthalmic resources in one technologically advanced facility. This focused approach to the care, treatment, and prevention of vision disorders will support the physicians in their goal to make The Eye Center a national Center of Excellence.

The Eye Center was developed in partnership with AMB Development Group and Aspen Healthcare, both nationally recognized leaders in healthcare facility development and management. Nationwide Realty Investors, as the master developer for Columbus' Arena District, also assisted with the project.
Construction began on The Eye Center in late 2003 and the 120,000 square foot, five story building opened its doors in April 2005.
