Eye care, or ophthalmology, is a growing field in which physicians and researchers are actively discovering new approaches and techniques to treat and prevent eye diseases. Do you have a family member or a friend with glaucoma, macular degeneration, or retinitis caused by diabetes? The treatment, care, and prevention of all of these depends on eye donors to advance the knowledge of how the eye functions, and what happens to impair its function.
