Conceived
by over thirty ophthalmologists representing more than ten practices
located across Central Ohio, The Eye Center brings together community
ophthalmic resources in one technologically advanced facility.
This focused approach to the care, treatment and prevention of
vision disorders will support the physicians in their goal to
make The Eye Center a national Center of Excellence.
The Eye Center was developed in partnership
with AMB Development Group and Surgery Consultants of America,
both nationally recognized leaders in healthcare facility development
and management.
In addition to offering comprehensive eye
care services, the facility is a destination for community and
patient education supported by The Eye Center’s foundation.
The physicians and staff will host educational programs, support
groups and lectures to further the awareness of vision health
through prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The foundation will
also support clinical programs that will further the training
of students, resident physicians and practicing doctors.
The Eye Center is located in downtown Columbus'
Arena District at 262 Neil Avenue, near the intersection of Spring
Street and Neil Avenue, just southwest of Nationwide Arena.
The
Eye Center recently received the Business First, Top
of the List Award.
